What is Virtual Terminal?
The Card Charging / Virtual terminal or Virtual POS (Web POS) service allows you to receive remote payments without having a physical terminal, giving you the ability to provide your business with the functionality of a physical card acceptance terminal, without the customer’s mandatory presence.

Sales executed through the virtual terminal are processed, cleared and credited to your accounts on the next day*.
You can access your trading history at any time by selecting the ‘Sales’ category.
Under the same category, you can also access additional features including cancellations, reversals and charges.
*Merchants' accounts are excluded depending on the risk of their business activity.

To charge cards via Virtual POS the following steps are necessary:
Log in to your viva.com account from a browser.
Select from the menu, Sales and Virtual Terminal
A notification appears asking you to:
Check that the name on your customer's ID card matches the name embossed on their payment card
Obtain your customer's signature on the transaction document (receipt, invoice or prepaid invoice) and keep it for at least 12 months
Compare the customer's signature on the transaction document with the signature on his/her ID card
Record your customer's name, address, telephone number and email address
Click Yes if you agree to these necessary actions
The Card Charge is displayed.Fill in the required fields.

To locate Web POS transactions, kindly follow the steps below:
Log in to your business viva.com account
Select from the menu, Sales and Sales Transactions
Locate the transaction you wish by searching by time period or date range.
The transaction will be displayed with the word Card Charge in the Type column
* When the transaction is pre-authorised, the word Reserve is displayed in the Type column.
If you want transaction details, select Information
If you would like to print the transaction, select Print

Yes, it does. If you wish to reserve an amount from your customer's card via Web POS, kindly follow the steps below:
Log in to your business Viva.com Account
Select from the Menu, Sales and Virtual Terminal
Fill in the required fields and select pre-authorize amount
Charge/cancellation of a pre-authorisation transaction

To track Web POS transactions, follow the steps below:
Login to your viva.com business account
Select from the menu, Sales and Transactions
Locate the transaction you want by searching by time period or date range
The transaction will appear with the word Capture in the Type column
From the Options column, tap Charge or Cancel, depending on the action you wish to take.
Important
The transaction can only be cancelled if it has not yet been cleared.

Charges are calculated based on the Interchange ++ model.
In particular, for the Virtual Terminal (Web POS) service, you will need to check the Price List in the OVER THE PHONE field.
