How do I activate the IRIS service as a freelancer/sole proprietorship?

The IRIS Payments service by Viva.com is a reliable and innovative solution for managing payments, ideal for freelancers and sole proprietors who wish to offer instant and secure transactions in Greece. Use this tool to optimize your business's cash flow while enhancing the professionalism and security of your transactions.

Requirements:
To register for the IRIS Payments service, an activated IBAN is required on your account. You can find detailed information about activating your IBAN here.

Activation via Web Browser

To successfully complete a money transfer using the IRIS Payments service, you must first activate it either through a web browser or via the viva.com mobile app. To activate the service, you must have enabled your IBAN on your account.

  1. On the homepage, select "Transfers" and then "IRIS Payments."

  2. Choose "Register for IRIS Payments."

  3. Specify the account where the amounts transferred via IRIS Payments will be credited, ensure your mobile phone number and VAT number (if you have a professional account) are correctly listed, and click "Save."

  4. Confirm your registration.

Your registration for the "IRIS Payments" service is complete.

Activation via the viva.com Mobile App

To successfully complete a money transfer using the IRIS Payments service, you must first activate it either through a web browser or via the viva.com mobile app. To activate the service, you must have enabled your IBAN on your account.

  1. At the bottom of the screen, select "Settings" and then "IRIS Payments."

  2. Tap "Register for IRIS Payments."

  3. Specify the account where the amounts transferred via IRIS Payments will be credited, ensure your mobile phone number and VAT number (if you have a professional account) are correctly listed, and click "Save."

The service has been successfully activated.
