Printing Option is not Available - Ciontek Terminals

If you are experiencing printing issues with the Ciontek terminal, such as:

  • The print option is not visible.

  • The receipt does not print.

  • The printing process starts but does not complete.

Follow these steps:

➡️ Update the Device

Check if the POS or viva.com terminal is updated to the latest version.

➡️ Confirm Application

Ensure you are opening the viva.com terminal application from the correct icon and not through a shortcut.

➡️ Check Thermal Paper

Verify that the thermal paper:

  • Has the correct diameter (dimensions)

  • Is properly placed in the slot

➡️ Enable Receipt Printing

Confirm that the receipt printing option is active. Follow this path in the terminal menu:
More (bottom right icon) > Settings > Checkout Options > Receipts > Enable Receipts.

If the "Enable Receipts" option is active, check the "Advanced Settings" field for the "Print Test Receipt" option.

➡️ Reinstall the Application

If the "Receipts" and "Print Test Receipt" options are not visible, you will need to delete and re-download the viva.com terminal application from the Google Play Store.

Note: By deleting the app, you will need to reconnect the terminal to your viva.com account.
