Start a New Batch/Shift via the Calendar Menu

The Viva POS application includes a new Calendar menu within the SoftPOS settings for Android and iOS devices. This menu offers the following options:

  1. Activate Calendar:
Merchants can enable or disable batch functionality based on their needs.

  2. Automatic Start of New Batch Upon Closing:
This option automatically creates a new batch when the previous one is closed. Note that auto-close functionality is unavailable. After each closing, users must either print or share the batch details. A batch cannot be closed unless one of these options is selected.

  3. Allow Transactions Only Within an Open Batch/Shift:
When this option is enabled, SoftPOS will accept payments only if a batch is open. If no batch is active, users must activate one manually. This option is disabled by default.
