How do I add my Viva.com card to Google Pay?

You can add your Viva.com card to Google Wallet directly through the Viva.com app.

Before you begin

Make sure:

  • You have the Viva.com app installed.

  • Your mobile number is registered and can receive SMS messages.

  • NFC is enabled on your Android device for contactless payments.


How to add your Viva.com card to Google Wallet

  1. Open the Viva.com app.

  2. Select the card you want to add.

  3. Tap Add to GPay.

  4. You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) by SMS on your registered mobile number.

  5. Enter the OTP to approve the action.

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions and select Add and continue.

  7. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions.

  8. Viva.com will verify your card details.

  9. Once verification is complete, you will receive confirmation that your card has been added and is ready for contactless payments.

Your card will then appear in the Google Wallet app.


Is my card information safe when using Google Wallet?

When you make payments using Google Wallet, Google does not share your card number with merchants.

How do I choose which card is charged?

If you have added multiple cards to Google Wallet, the first card added is used as the default payment card.

To change your default card, follow the instructions provided in Google Wallet.


How do I check whether NFC is enabled?

To verify that NFC is enabled on your Android device:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Search for NFC.

  3. Select the NFC option.

  4. Make sure NFC is turned on.


How do I make my Viva.com card the default card?

The first card added to Google Wallet automatically becomes the default card.

To change your default card:

  1. Open the Google Wallet app.

  2. Select your Viva.com card.

  3. Tap Set Default.


Can I continue using Google Wallet if my physical card is damaged?

Yes. If your Viva.com card remains active, you can continue using it through Google Wallet even if the physical card is damaged.


What happens if I replace or update my Android device?

If you replace or upgrade your Android device, you will need to add your cards to Google Wallet again.


Where will a refund be credited?

If a purchase made using Google Wallet is refunded, the refund amount will be credited to your Viva.com account.

What should I do if my Android device is lost or stolen?

Lock or delete your card

You can lock or delete your card through:

  • the Viva.com app, or

  • your Viva.com account dashboard.

This helps prevent unauthorized use of your card through Google Wallet.

If you find your device

If your device is recovered, you can unlock your card through:

  • the Viva.com app, or

  • your Viva.com account via a web browser.

You can then continue using your card with Google Wallet.

Create a replacement card

If you permanently delete your card, you can:

  • create a new digital card through the Viva.com app or your account, or

  • order a new physical debit card.

Once your new card is available, you can add it to Google Wallet.

Your Viva.com account gives you tools to manage and protect your cards whenever needed.
