On the POS terminal, the merchant selects Manage all payment methods -> Alternative payment methods
The customer then selects the Alipay+ from the options list:

Supported POS Solutions: Alipay is available on Tap on Phone (including Viva Contactless Terminal powered by Google Play, Viva Contactless Terminal with Professional Scanner powered by Google Play & Viva Contactless / Chip & PIN Terminal powered by Google Play), PAX devices (A80, A910, A920, A920 Pro & IM30) and Prolin devices (Q30).
Payment Method Type: Synchronous – payments are confirmed immediately.
Refunds: Supports partial and full refunds.
Recurring Payments: Not supported.
Pre-Authorizations: Not supported.

Restricted MCCs: Some merchant categories and those selling specific products are not eligible for Alipay activation. See the detailed chart below.

All merchants are activated by default to accept payments for Alipay.
Alipay activation occurs once a week, so it may take up to 7 days before Alipay becomes available on your account. No action is required from the merchant.

Merchants selling cannabis/CBD products are not eligible to use Alipay. Additionally, certain merchant categories are not eligible for Alipay activation. If your business falls into one of these categories, you will not be able to accept payments via Alipay:
