Apple Pay is a digital payment service available on compatible Apple devices. You can use it to make purchases in stores, online, and within supported apps.
When you make a payment using Apple Pay, your card number is not stored on your device or Apple's servers. Instead, Apple Pay uses a device-specific account number and a unique transaction code to help protect your card information.
What do I need to use Apple Pay?
You will need:
A supported payment card, including Viva.com cards and cards from other supported payment institutions
The latest version of iOS, watchOS, or macOS
An Apple ID signed in to iCloud

How do I use Apple Pay?
On iPhone
Hold your iPhone near the payment terminal.
Confirm the payment using Face ID or Touch ID.
When the transaction is complete, you will see a confirmation on your screen.
On Apple Watch
Hold your Apple Watch near the payment terminal.
Double-press the side button.
You will feel a vibration when the payment is successful.
On iPad
You can use Apple Pay to make purchases in supported apps.
In apps
Select the Apple Pay button or choose Apple Pay as your payment method.
Confirm the purchase using:
Face ID or Touch ID on iPhone or iPad, or
a double-press of the side button on Apple Watch.
Which devices are compatible with Apple Pay?
Apple Pay is supported on:
iPhone models with Face ID
iPhone models with Touch ID (except iPhone 5s)
iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad, and iPad mini models with Face ID or Touch ID
Mac models with Touch ID, or Mac models released in 2012 or later when used with a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch

You can withdraw cash from ATMs that support contactless transactions and accept your digital card through Apple Pay.
Is Apple Pay secure?
Yes.
When you use Apple Pay:
Your card number is not stored on your device or Apple's servers.
Apple does not share your card number with merchants during transactions.
Payments use a device-specific account number and a unique transaction code.

How can I view my recent Apple Pay transactions?
You can view your most recent Apple Pay transactions in the Wallet app.
The Wallet app displays up to the last 10 Apple Pay transactions, including merchant details.
What is a digital account number?
When you add your Viva.com card to Apple Pay, a unique digital account number is created for that card on your device.
This number:
Is unique to your device
Is different from your physical card number
Helps protect your card information during payments
How do I lock Apple Pay?
Apple Pay is automatically locked when your device is locked.
To authorize a payment, you must use:
Your device passcode
Touch ID
Face ID
depending on your device settings.
How can I check my device settings?
Apple Pay is available only in supported countries and regions.
To check your settings:
Open Settings on your device.
Verify that your country or region is set to Greece or another supported country.
Review the list of Apple Pay supported countries and regions.
If your country or region is not supported, Apple Pay may not be available on your device.
