What is SEPA Direct Debit?

SEPA Direct Debit allows you to authorize an organization or company to collect payments directly from your Viva.com Account.

This payment method is commonly used for recurring payments such as subscriptions, and other ongoing obligations.


Which organizations accept SEPA Direct Debit?

SEPA Direct Debit can be used with organizations that support this payment method within the SEPA region.

Acceptance is determined by the organization receiving the payment. If you are unsure whether an organization accepts SEPA Direct Debit, please contact them directly.


How do I activate SEPA Direct Debit with an organization?

To activate SEPA Direct Debit:

  1. Contact the organization or company you wish to pay.

  2. Provide your Viva.com Account number.

  3. Give your consent for the organization to collect payments from your account.


How will Direct Debit payments appear in my account?

Direct Debit payments appear in your business account transactions with the transaction type SEPA Direct Debit.


Is there a fee for paying an organization through SEPA Direct Debit?

No. Viva.com currently provides this service at no additional charge.

If our pricing policy changes, you will be informed through our price list.


What happens if my available balance is not sufficient?

If your available account balance is not enough to cover the payment, the Direct Debit payment will not be completed.


How do I cancel a Direct Debit authorization?

To stop future Direct Debit payments, contact the organization or company with which you originally set up the Direct Debit authorization.


Can I request a refund or dispute a Direct Debit payment?

You have the right to:

  • Request cancellation and a refund through the organization within 8 weeks.

  • Dispute a charge you do not recognize within 13 months.
