Seizure is imposed on the tax identification number (TIN) and not on the IBAN. If a seizure order is issued, the bank accounts you hold will be frozen regardless of whether they have an IBAN or not.
If you have an unseizable account with viva.com and do not wish to keep your current IBAN, please take immediate action to change it by contacting AADE.
You always have the option to maintain the existing IBAN that is declared as unseizable and linked to your account, with a fee of €10 per month. If you keep the declared IBAN active on your account, there will be no change. The request to maintain the IBAN can be made through your account's selfcare.
The obligation to maintain the IBAN is charged monthly, on the last business day of each month, and is not applied towards the seizure, as it relates to a prior obligation to our company.
Declaration of unseizable account
You can declare your viva.com account as unseizable on the AADE platform. A necessary prerequisite is to request and receive an IBAN for your account from us.
Then, you will need to send an email to support@viva.com from your registered email.
In your request, you should include:
Your full name
Your registered phone number
Additionally, you will need to attach the document from AADE that proves the declaration of the unseizable IBAN.
I want to change banks for the unseizable account:
You can declare only one unseizable account. Therefore, if you have declared the IBAN of another bank, you will need to deselect it if you wish to declare your viva.com account.
You should contact AADE by calling 2131621000 at the AADE help desk. They will guide you on both the deletion of the old account and the declaration of the new unseizable account.
It is worth noting that "VIVA Payment Services Single Member S.A." has not yet been included in the electronic update of the Declaration - Deletion of unseizable accounts between AADE and credit institutions or electronic payment institutions, meaning that the process of Declaration - Deletion of unseizable accounts must be carried out exclusively by you through taxisnet or via the AADE help desk.
Finally, once the above process is completed, please send us the relevant proof at confiscations@viva.com so we can take the necessary actions on your account.
