How do I connect the card terminal to my account?

Once you complete the set-up of your physical stores, follow the steps below in order to connect the card terminal to your account. This guide provides detailed instructions for linking and managing your terminals via a computer, mobile browser, or the Viva.com app. It also includes steps for locating and deactivating terminals if needed.

From desktop:

  • Log-in to your viva.com Business account

  • Choose, Sales Physical Payments Card Terminals New Card Terminal

  • Enter the Activation Code shown on your card terminal in the required field and choose Next

  • The card terminal has been activated

From mobile phone browser:

  • Log-in to your viva.com Business account, from the menu, on the right side of your screen

  • Choose Sales Physical Payments Terminals New Terminal

  • Enter the Activation Code shown on your card terminal in the required field and choose Next

  • The card terminal has been activated

Activation through viva.com Mobile App:

  • Open viva.com Application

  • Select Preferences → Activate a viva.com POS

  • Fill in the Activation Code shown on your card terminal in the required field and choose Next

  • The card terminal has been activated

** In case you have one of D200, S900, S800 card terminal models, the "activation code" is displayed the serial number located on the back of the terminal.

How can I locate my card terminals?

  • Log-in to your viva.com Business account through a browser

  • Choose, SalesPhysical Payments Card Terminals

Important

The viva.com terminal application uses the SoftPos type. Each time the viva.com terminal application is activated on a mobile device, a new entry labeled SoftPos will be created.

How can I disable a terminal on my account?

In case of replacement of a terminal due to failure, we will deactivate it within a few days. Once it is deactivated, it no longer appears in the menu Sales Physical Payments Terminals.

However, in case you wish to modify the status of your terminal (Active/Active), you will follow the following path from your account home page:

Sales → Physical Payments → Terminals, and you will change the status from "Active POS" to "Inactive POS" in the Operation column.
