Eligible features with Surcharge

  • ISV fees are excluded from Surcharge

  • Surcharge transactions are excluded from 0% merchant commission

  • Pushing of the parameters to the terminals is done once per day automatically, only for PAX devices.

For the rest of the devices, or for faster update of the PAX ones, the merchant can update manually the parameters in every device or close the app and re-launch it.

Important note

Merchants shall notify the Cardholder with the amount of the surcharge before the transaction is executed. If a Cardholder complains over a surcharge, the Merchant shall try to handle the complaint itself.

Additionally, to assist in resolving potential disputes regarding the surcharge, an option has been added to skip the surcharge. Specifically, when the surcharge appears in the application, tapping the three dots in the upper-right corner of the screen reveals the option to skip the surcharge for the customer. In this case, the transaction amount is displayed to the customer without the surcharge. Terms and Conditions - Viva.com.
