Klarna
Oppdatert i dag

Klarna allows the customer to shop online or in-store and to pay later. It gives flexible payment options, making it easier for them to shop. Klarna’s payment options include direct payments, pay-after-delivery options, and installment plans, that allow consumers to pay when and how they prefer to. When your customers choose to pay with a Klarna payment option, Klarna collects the payment from the buyer whenever they choose to pay, whether that be in 30 days, 3, or even 36 months.

➡️ Key benefits of offering Klarna as a payment method are:

  • Increased sales: Achieve 40% higher average order value on Klarna purchases, 20% increase in conversion, and 45% increase in purchase frequency

  • Large customer base: There are 150 million Klarna shoppers, with 69% shopper growth year-over-year

  • Significant payment volume: 2 million Klarna transactions per day across 45 countries

  • Extensive customer reach: 205 million monthly impressions on social media, 30+ million consumers impacted weekly

  • Competitiveness: Offer innovative payment options and be unique among your competitors

  • Consumer flexibility: You can provide customers with the flexibility to pay when and how they like

  • Consumer trust: Attract consumers who may not have made their purchase at all if Klarna was not an option, especially when buying for the first time from a merchant

  • Get started quickly: There is no need for the merchant to have an account with Klarna

  4. The customer then confirms their phone number via SMS confirmation code:

  5. The customer is then taken back to the Klarna checkout page:

  6. After clicking Place Order, the customer selects their Klarna payment method:

  7. The customer can then review and finalize their order on the next page:
