Getting Started: Viva.com Onboarding & Activation Guide

Getting started with Viva.com is simple. This guide will help you complete the onboarding and activation steps - such as verifying your identity, confirming your business details, and assigning account roles - so you can set up your merchant account quickly and confidently.

Why is onboarding important?

As a tech bank operating in 24 countries across Europe, we’re committed to verifying the identity and legitimacy of every merchant. This ensures compliance with local regulations and helps create a secure and trustworthy financial environment.


What to Expect

Onboarding at Viva.com is a guided process, where we’ll ask you to review and confirm your business details, verify your identity, and choose how your account is managed.
Once you complete Self-Onboarding, you’ll automatically be redirected to your Account Dashboard, where the onboarding steps will appear as a task list with a progress bar.

Let’s walk through each step together


Step 1: Select a Subscription Plan

Click Start on the task list. You’ll be shown available subscription plans.

  • A recommended plan will be highlighted based on the details you provided during the commercial assessment via our ChatBot.

  • You can either accept the suggestion or choose a different plan that suits your business needs.


Step 2 & 3: Verify Identity & Provide Business Information

You’ll now need to verify your identity and submit key business information.

To do this:

  • Log in to gov.gr (for merchants based in Greece) or your country's official portal.

  • Complete the Remote Identity Verification process.
    This step helps us validate your identity and retrieve official business details from the relevant registry.


Step 4: Confirm Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs)

  • Form: Fill in the UBO details manually and specify the type of control. You can add more UBOs if needed.


Step 5: Specify Authority to Open the Account

Here you’ll tell us who has the authority to open the Viva.com account.

  • Sole Signatory: You’re the only legal representative. Confirm and continue.

  • Multiple Signatories: Select the representatives who need to sign the agreement. If it’s not you, enter their contact details.

  • Add Another: Need to include more? Add an extra signatory manually.

Step 6: Choose the Account Administrator

Lastly, decide who will manage the Viva.com account.

  • Myself: You’ll act as the sole account administrator.

  • Someone Else: Enter the contact details of the person you want to assign as administrator.


Step 7: Finalise and Submit for Signatures

In this step, you’ll review and sign your agreement digitally.

  • The terms and conditions are presented in sections. As you click Next, each section collapses and the next one opens.

  • To proceed, check the agreement box after reviewing each section.

Next, you’ll be redirected to our Digital Signature Provider:

  • Review our terms and click Request Certificate to proceed.

  • You’ll have the option to preview the documents before signing.

To finalize:

  • Select both checkboxes to activate the Send Code button.

  • An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your phone. Enter it to complete the signature process.

  • Once completed, you can download a copy of your signed documents.

Once all steps are completed, your application will be reviewed according to our Onboarding & Activation Policy, which varies slightly depending on your country and business type.

You can track your progress and status directly from your dashboard anytime.

Once you’ve completed all the steps, your account will be fully set up and ready to use. From there, you can start exploring the tools and features available to support your business and manage your payments with ease.
